Gemmayze is an area located in downtown Beirut, Lebanon, an area known for its cultural history and background. The area is undergoing a deep change in its aspect, and a new duality is born in this region: the contrast between the old, traditional, and the new, young nightlife.
The brief of this project was to establish a visual identity, and to promote the development of the Gemmayze area, which would result to the development of the whole cultural aspect of Lebanon. This special mixture of old and new, cultural and nightlife, makes the Lebanese culture a unique hybrid. The outcome of this project was to promote and start changing the negative vision people tend to have of lebanon.
